DSRC's practice group for Java Technology developed an e-HR application system, codenamed SPEED (Systems Productivity for Employee Empowerment & Development) for Citi Group, to be deployed in the group's operations in the CEEMEA region.

DSRC's project team has contributed to over 100 person-years of effort to develop and web-enable all HR functions of Citi Group. DSRC was responsible for all phases of project lifecycle from application development to testing and implementation, maintenance and support.

At present, we are direct, approved service providers to Citi Group and provide remote application support services to maintain the e-HR system.

Mitsubishi Motors is a world known Car manufacturing Company, with plants at different locations. One of the primary manufacturing plants for Mitsubishi (with a turnover of around $30 billion per year), at Pattaya in Thailand, has a very high volume of car production (around 400 vehicles a day) and so spare part requirement for the plant is also very high. Their existing legacy system (Informix, UNIX) was unable to cope with the changing business scenario – hence a separate SAP system had to be implemented.

Post SAP implementation, Mitsubishi's management had difficulty in managing raw material supply and faster reporting facilities to meet their day to day production requirement.

As Mitsubishi's current SCM team is still working on a legacy system (Informix database on Unix OS)and generate all their transactional documents using this legacy system.

Deloitte Consulting engaged the services of DSRC to set-up a SAP ABAP factory to generate interfaces to communicate this online transaction data and generate corresponding transaction documents in SAP to generate reports in SAP and send them back to the legacy system.

Currently the project is in integration testing and discussions. This project is expected to go live by mid-October 2004. Considering DSRC's efforts in timely delivery of objects and performance skills, Deloitte has agreed to carry this partnership forward to their forthcoming projects.

DSRC's Microsoft consulting practice develops Microsoft. Net based Enterprise Solution for Interim Healthcare in the US, which provides Home Healthcare and Supplemental Healthcare Staffing Services.

Interim Healthcare needed a single enterprise platform that could support all their home-care and facility staffing operations. This single web-based system would replace the patchwork of client-server and web-based systems deployed at each of their locations across the United States.

The enterprise healthcare solution is a set of Microsoft .Net applications delivered to the end-user through an ASP.NET enterprise portal. The system comprises of an ASP.NET Web front end and a rich middle tier consisting of collaborating Web Services and Windows Services that perform critical business functions. SQL Server 2000 is used as the back-end of the system.

The developed system manages Nursing Staff Scheduling, Clinical Assessments, Plans of Treatment, Payroll, Billing, Cash Applications, Collections and HR. The system provides users with the ability to manage worker Schedules, Patient Care Episodes, generate Payroll Records, manage Insurance carrier and Facility Billing and manage Cash Applications and Collections, apart from worker and HR related functionalities.

The system fully supports HIPAA Security and privacy Standards of 1996 and generates HIPAA Transactional Standard compliant electronic billing.

Further to our successful completion of the Y2K remediation project which was delivered using an onsite/offshore model covering 254 person-months on-site, 244 person-months off-shore, Cable & Wireless commissioned DSRC to re-engineer their switched billing and front-end processing systems.

DSRC delivered this project also using an onsite/offshore application management/delivery model, our project teams enhanced the system's performance, maintainability and accuracy. This project was completed in 5 months including 80 person-months offshore and 32 on-site
